Explora Journeys launches Explora Club loyalty program

Explora Journeys has launched its first formal loyalty program, the Explora Club, designed to acknowledge and reward guest loyalty through a structured 5-tier system.

The program features 5 levels—Classic, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond—determined by a points-based system that considers weighted nights at sea, suite category, and additional spending related to destination experiences and eligible onboard purchases. Points are also accrued through expenditures made at the spa, on specialty dining, beverages, laundry services, and purchases at The Journey boutique, with 100 points awarded for every EUR or US$1,000 spent.

The tier thresholds are defined as follows: Classic at 0 points, Silver from 1 to 5,000 points, Gold from 5,001 to 20,000, Platinum from 20,001 to 50,000, and Diamond beginning at 50,001 points. All past voyages will be retroactively credited toward a guest’s Explora Club standing.

The program officially commenced on April 9, 2025. Guests are now invited to enroll and begin accumulating benefits, which are structured to increase in exclusivity and value with each tier.

From July 2025, members will have access to a personalized digital environment via the ‘My Explora’ platform, where their loyalty level, benefits, and voyage history will be displayed. In addition, Explora Journeys is offering a status match initiative for guests who hold loyalty standing with other luxury cruise lines.

The program provides a series of escalating benefits. At the Classic level, guests receive a personalized welcome and an exclusive gift. Silver-level members gain additional recognition through birthday acknowledgments and are invited to an exclusive cocktail event with ship leadership. As guests progress to Gold, benefits expand to include a curated turndown experience and complimentary laundry services. Platinum members receive priority reservations for onboard services and are invited on a behind-the-scenes tour of the bridge and engine room. Diamond members are extended the highest privileges, including a private shopping experience outside of standard boutique hours.

Savings and onboard credits are also included as part of the program’s value proposition. All members are given access to exclusive offers, while Silver members and above benefit from savings at The Journey boutique and on future voyages. Platinum members receive onboard credit applicable to wellness services and shore excursions. Diamond members are entitled to a complimentary 7-night journey for two guests.

Pre-voyage services are similarly tiered. All members receive early access to new journey deployments and a dedicated online portal. From Silver onwards, members benefit from priority assistance through the Explora Experience Centre. Diamond members receive enhanced services, including private airport transfers, complimentary suite upgrades, and participation in the President’s Journey—a curated culinary and destination experience.

The Explora Club represents a structured and comprehensive approach to guest loyalty, aligning with the brand’s broader vision of cultivating long-term relationships at sea through meaningful recognition and elevated service.
