NCL-Norwegian Cruise Line has unveiled its spring and summer 2027 deployment, featuring over 500 voyages aboard 20 vessels from nearly 30 homeports across the globe. These sailings, taking place from April to October, will visit more than 150 individual ports in 59 countries, including notable overnight stays at destinations such as Istanbul, Reykjavik, and Bermuda’s Royal Naval Dockyard.

From the USA's Caribbean shores, travellers may choose 3- to 11-night itineraries to the Bahamas, Bermuda, and Western and Eastern Caribbean routes. Nearly all itineraries include calls at Norwegian’s private islands—Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas and Harvest Caye in Belize.

The company has announced further enhancements to Great Stirrup Cay, including a new multi-ship pier, shuttle trams, and upgraded beach amenities, scheduled for unveiling later in 2025.

Newbuilds Norwegian Aqua and Norwegian Viva will lead NCL's Caribbean fleet. Aqua will sail week-long roundtrips from Miami and Port Canaveral, including maiden visits to Falmouth, Jamaica, and George Town, Grand Cayman. Viva will offer select departures from Miami between April and May.

Shorter 3- to 5-night voyages to the Bahamas are planned for Norwegian Getaway and Norwegian Escape.

NCL's Bermuda season will feature sailings from Philadelphia, New York City, and Boston.

Norwegian Luna, debuting in NYC on April 6, 2027, will offer 5- to 7-night roundtrips to Bermuda. Norwegian Breakaway and Norwegian Pearl will return with 7-night itineraries from Boston, NYC, and Philadelphia, respectively. Both ships will also offer Canada & New England sailings later in the season.

NCL will deploy 8 ships to Europe, primarily 7-day getaways from major port cities such as Barcelona, Rome, Athens, and Reykjavik. These voyages emphasize time ashore, with extended port hours and overnight stays in iconic cities like Istanbul, Copenhagen, and Hamburg. Norwegian Prima and Norwegian Viva will offer 9- to 11-day voyages, with Prima introducing maiden calls in Dubrovnik, Split, and Kotor. Later, open-jaw Northern and Baltic cruises will include new ports like Helsinki and Riga.

In cooler climes, four NCL ships—Encore, Bliss, Joy, and Jade—will operate Alaskan itineraries leaving from Seattle WA, Vancouver BC, and Whittier AK. These voyages, spanning 7 to 10 days, are designed to highlight scenic cruising among glaciers and access to the region’s wildlife and wilderness. Optional Cruisetours will enable deeper exploration of inland Alaska, including Denali National Park.

Further afield, Norwegian Spirit will continue its South Pacific deployment through December 2027, visiting popular islands in Fiji, French Polynesia, and NZ's Cook Islands.

David J. Herrera, President of NCL, emphasized the breadth of options available—from Caribbean escapes and luxury private island days to immersive Alaska and European experiences—all designed to fulfill the growing desire for enriched travel itineraries.

Intriguingly, the deployment includes Norwegian Aqua and others sailing from technologically advanced USA terminals, suggesting a seamless boarding experience and increased operational efficiency.
