CCL-Carnival swaps Pepsi for Coca‑Cola across North American fleet

CCL-Carnival Cruise Line has entered into a renewed partnership with The Coca‑Cola Company, appointing it as the preferred beverage provider across its North American fleet. Beginning later this summer, guests aboard Carnival’s 13 U.S. homeport ships will once again be served Coca‑Cola products, including classic sodas, zero‑sugar options, and sparkling flavored water.

Ship announcements indicate that the full reintroduction of Coca‑Cola beverages is expected to be completed across the fleet by the end of September 2025.

This move reverses the switch to a Pepsi-based offering that took place in late 2019.

Carnival’s president, Christine Duffy, has described the pairing of Carnival and Coca‑Cola as a union of two emblematic brands centered on shared values of fun, family, and collective memory, stating that the beverage return will enrich the onboard dining and refreshment offerings.

From the beverages side, North America Foodservice president Dagmar Boggs expressed enthusiasm, conveying that the company is delighted to return to Carnival and to provide suitable drinks for every moment of the voyage—from lunch to poolside to port calls.

Carnival ships in Australia have already carried Coca‑Cola brands, indicating that the reintroduction in North America completes a global alignment of beverage offerings.

By reinstating Coca‑Cola products, Carnival aims to reinforce guest satisfaction and comfort, reinstating a familiar refreshment experience that aligns with its broader hospitality standards.
