Dubai is slated to host the region’s first business-to-business forum dedicated entirely to polar expedition cruises on September 11th, 2025. The event, organised by Cruise Master—the Middle East’s first specialist cruise agency—will extend an invitation-only occasion aimed at acquainting regional travel agents with leading international operators in one of the cruise sector’s most rapidly expanding segments.

The forum will concentrate on Arctic and Antarctic voyages, a domain witnessing rising global popularity. Industry figures report that Arctic sailings have grown by 37% in the past decade, with rising demand evident from the Middle East as well.

Leading expedition firms confirmed to attend include Celebrity Cruises, Silversea Expeditions, Oceanwide Expeditions, Expeditions Beyond Adventure, Albatros Expeditions, and Swan Hellenic. Each will present their polar itineraries, vessels, and unique selling points, allowing agents to appraise multiple offerings in one setting.

The one-day programme includes product showcases, panel discussions, and networking slots. Presentations from expedition industry leaders will provide regional sales strategies, operational insights, and environmental considerations specific to polar cruising. Agents will be able to conduct one-on-one meetings with company representatives and engage with peers during networking breaks.

The inception of Dubai as host for this polar-focused event underscores its evolving role—not just as a gateway for conventional Gulf and Indian Ocean voyages, but as a hub facilitating the transition of Middle Eastern travellers into expedition cruising. By empowering agents with specialist knowledge, the event seeks to accelerate the region’s participation in polar tourism, reinforcing its connection to global expedition trends.
