Azamara Cruises has unveiled 35 new AzAmazing Evenings scheduled for its 2026 voyages, broadening the line’s long-established program of destination-centered cultural experiences.
Introduced in 2011, AzAmazing Evenings are complimentary events created exclusively for Azamara guests and designed to offer an authentic encounter with local traditions, arts, and performances in distinctive venues across the world.
The 2026 program will extend across multiple continents, featuring events from Alaska and Japan to Africa, Europe, and South America. Voyages of nine nights or longer will include an AzAmazing Evening ashore, while selected 7- and 8-night sailings will host similar experiences onboard.
Highlights include a cultural celebration in Guayaquil, Ecuador, showcasing regional music performed with instruments made from natural materials; a performance of Hiroshima Kagura in Japan, illustrating local myth and dance; and a multimedia cultural presentation at Fort Jesus in Mombasa, Kenya, integrating Swahili music, dance, and visual projection.
Additional events include a candlelit concert inside Gibraltar’s St. Michael’s Cave, a showcase of Finnish music at Helsinki’s Music Center, a traditional Alaskan evening in Ketchikan featuring Tlingit dance and lumberjack contests, and a performance in Shanghai blending acrobatics, opera, and folk music.
