HAL-Holland America Line and Seabourn Cruises have secured broadcast rights from IMG to transmit the 2026 FIFA World Cup across their respective fleets during the tournament period from June 11th to July 19th, 2026. Under the arrangement, Sport 24 Special Event channels will carry all 104 matches for viewing on stateroom televisions throughout the ships, enabling passengers to follow the event while at sea regardless of routing.

On select Holland America vessels, marquee fixtures are planned to be presented on larger public screens such as those on the Lido Pool or in the World Stage theatre, extending the viewing experience beyond private cabins. Seabourn’s coverage likewise encompasses the full slate of scheduled matches across its ocean fleet via the same broadcast channels, with access available from suites and other onboard spaces.

The agreements to carry live tournament content form part of a broader set of broadcast arrangements negotiated by cruise operators with IMG for the global sporting event, which will be hosted across venues in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Provision for viewing at sea is intended to allow guests to maintain continuity of coverage as they transit to and from a variety of ports during the North Atlantic summer and other seasonal deployments.
