Carnival Miracle to join Baltimore fleet, expanding Caribbean sailings

CCL-Carnival Cruise Line has mapped a new pattern of deployments for its 2027–2028 season that will see altered homeport arrangements in several U.S. ports and broadened Caribbean itineraries for multiple vessels.

In a deployment plan outlined by the company, the Carnival Miracle will join her sister ship Carnival Pride in Baltimore beginning in the fall of 2027, making that harbour one of the few in the line’s network to host two ships simultaneously and thereby increasing the variety of voyages offered from the Mid-Atlantic. The Miracle is scheduled to arrive in Baltimore on November 20th, 2027, after a transatlantic repositioning, and will sail a mix of 7-, 8- and 9-day Caribbean passages as well as extended 12- and 14-day Carnival Journeys cruises that call at ports such as Dominica, Guadeloupe and St Maarten. Meanwhile, Pride will continue year-round operations from the same harbour, maintaining its service of 7-day Bahamas and Bermuda sailings along with longer itineraries to destinations including Aruba, Curaçao and Barbados.

Further adjustments involve Carnival Firenze, which will base at Port Canaveral in the fall of 2027 and through mid-May 2028, sailing a programme that includes short 4-night Bahamas getaways featuring Carnival’s exclusive destination at Celebration Key, longer Eastern Caribbean routes, and Carnival Journeys voyages into the Southern Caribbean. The Firenze is also scheduled to operate a special 11-night Carnival Journeys sailing from Miami in May 2027 with visits to Celebration Key, Aruba, Curaçao and St Thomas before repositioning to New York City for seasonal summer 2028 service; these summer sailings from the Northeast will provide Caribbean access to that market prior to the ship’s return to Port Canaveral for its year-round programme.
