DCL-Disney Cruise Line has confirmed that its fourth vessel in the Wish-class series will carry the name Disney Believe, with entry into service scheduled for late 2027. The announcement was made during the company’s annual meeting, forming part of a broader fleet expansion programme that will extend into the next decade.

The vessel will continue the thematic approach established across the class, drawing on narratives centred on characters defined by aspiration and personal resolve. Storylines and visual elements aboard the ship will incorporate material from a range of established productions, including Encanto, Frozen, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, The Little Mermaid and Moana, forming the basis of the onboard environment and entertainment programme.

As part of the Wish-class series, the ship will follow the design and operational characteristics of its sister vessels, which include Disney Wish, Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny. These ships are constructed at the Meyer Werft shipyard and typically measure approximately 144,000 gross tons, accommodating up to around 4,000 passengers.

The introduction of Disney Believe follows the recent deployment of Disney Adventure, which entered service in Singapore earlier in 2026, bringing the fleet to 8 active vessels. The addition of further ships is already planned, with the company indicating that the fleet is expected to expand to 13 vessels by 2031, including a new class of smaller ships scheduled to begin delivery from 2029.

Within this development framework, Disney Believe represents a continuation of the operator’s established design philosophy, combining themed environments with large-capacity passenger operations, while contributing to the gradual expansion of Disney Cruise Line’s global deployment.
