Crystal has announced that award-winning singer and actress Vanessa Williams will join guests aboard the Crystal Serenity on a special voyage departing November 23rd, 2026, providing a distinctive start to the festive season. The 9-night sailing will operate roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale to Cartagena, with calls at destinations including Samana in the Dominican Republic, Jost Van Dyke in the British Virgin Islands and Oranjestad, Aruba.
Renowned for a career spanning music, television and the stage, Williams has achieved international recognition through chart-topping recordings such as Save the Best for Last and Love Is, as well as performances in productions including The Devil Wears Prada in London’s West End and television series such as Ugly Betty and Desperate Housewives.
During the voyage, Williams is scheduled to present an exclusive live performance featuring a selection of her best-known songs alongside seasonal music. Guests will also have the opportunity to attend a question-and-answer session focused on her career and artistic experiences, providing additional insight into her work across multiple entertainment fields. According to Williams, the voyage would offer an opportunity to share music, stories and festive occasions with guests and her family during the holiday season.
Crystal’s Vice President of Entertainment, Keith Cox, indicated that the company regarded Williams as an ideal guest performer for the holiday sailing, noting that her established career and broad appeal would contribute to the onboard programme.
The itinerary concludes with an overnight stay in Cartagena, allowing extended time ashore to explore the Colombian port city.
