New video shows a helicopter as it medevacs a teenager from a moving NCL ship several hundred miles off Eastern Shore coast.

The Coast Guard released the video on Tuesday, June 27, of the accident that happened back on January 4, 2017.

A teenager onboard Norwegian Breakaway needed emergency care because of appendicitis-like symptoms, so the Coast Guard helicopter came to the rescue.

The Video below shows an MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter hovering over the cruise ship's bow while Norwegian Breakaway was still sailing about 430 mi off Ocean City. Crews lowered a device on the deck for the teen to climb into, and one more time so boy's grandmother could go with him.

The 14-year-old and his grandmother were flown to a hospital in Norfolk VA.
