Arcadia and Oceana to Receive Multi-Million Pound Refit

A couple of P&O Cruises ships will undergo multi-million pound refit before Christmas.

RPW Design, hospitality interior design practice, was drafted in to support the upgrading of adults-only Arcadia. Public areas, staterooms, suites, bars, main dining rooms and fine dining venues will be revamped.

Arcadia will undergo her refit in Hamburg in preparation for Christmas and her 99-night world cruise departing Southampton January 9, 2018.

The first cruise onboard the ship after the refit will be a 3-night Belgium cruise from Southampton November 15.

At the end of November MS Oceana will enter drydock in Hamburg to be refreshed and updated.

Work to Oceana includes refurbished youth spaces, new entertainment and soft play equipment, revamped nursery space and updated teenagers' area.

The Terrace Bar will receive refurbished hot tubs and a new canopy over the swimming pool which will now cover the bar.

Following her refit, Oceana embarks on a 12-night Canary Islands & Portugal cruise from Southampton December 17.
