World Dream Christened in Hong Kong

Genting Hong Kong celebrated the arrival of the second new ship of Dream Cruises, World Dream, on Friday, November 17, at Kai Tak Cruise Terminal via special christening ceremony.

Puan Sri Cecilia Lim, official Godmother of the ship and wife of Tan Sri Lim Kok Thay, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of GHK, delivered her message and activated the breaking of the champagne on the hull of the newbuild in the presence of over 1,000 guests including business and trade partners, government dignitaries and media.

World Dream is the sister to Genting Dream which debuted in November 2016. 

World Dream’s diverse itineraries feature new destination experiences taking passengers on tropical and cultural Asian journeys. Winter destinations feature 6-day cruises to Manila and Boracay alternating with 6-day trips to Ho Chi Minh and Nha Trang.
