Port of Richards Bay 2017-2018 cruise season started this weekend with the arrival of Phoenix Reisen’s Albatros.
The cruise ship sailed in on Saturday, November 25, carrying around 1000 European and South African guests.
According to Preston Khomo, Richards Bay Port Manager, the port is due to receive 14 cruise ships this season from November 2017 through April 2018.
MS Albatros is one of over 20 luxury ships operated by 17 cruise lines that will visit South Africa’s ports during 2017-2018 cruise season.
