Royal Caribbean Upgrades Booking

Royal Caribbean added new functionality to AirWaves, line's dynamic packaging booking platform, following feedback from cruise travel agencies.

The upgrade allows travel agents to book up to 4 staterooms at one time on AirWaves, instead of having to reserve cabins individually, across company’s brands Azamara, Celebrity Cruises and Royal Caribbean International.

Other changes consist of offering secure prices and inventory so that cruisers can book hotels, flights and transfers together as part of the package.

Another addition is specifically designed to make it easier for families to book multiple staterooms by proving them with just one invoice for all rather than by each cabin so they get an overall package price.

AirWaves launched in November last year after going through testing period with UK travel agents and is currently being used by 6,500 agents in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
