Virgin Voyages recently reveled some of the exciting spaces on their first, still unnamed cruise ship, currently under construction at Fincantieri shipyard Sestri Ponente (Genoa, Italy).
A number of well known designers were chosen to create a new style and build on Virgin's image for their newbuild. Virgin Voyages partnered with Roman & Williams in New York, WorkAC in New York, Tom Dixon’s Design Research Studio in London, Softroom in London and Concrete Amsterdam.
Each of the designers brings the best of their ideas to the ship and provide diversity throughout using the principle of Modern Romance of Sailing.
The first of 3 ships for Virgin Voyages is due to debut in 2020 with year-round cruises to the Caribbean from Miami FL. The ship is designed for adult-only environment.
