After confirming they had been acquired by RCCL-Royal Caribbean in a deal worth approx US$2 billion, Silversea announced a series of enhancements that are due to take their fleet to the next level.

Silversea's Project Invictus is a new, multi-year initiative with enhancements ranging from product upgrades to revitalization programs. The first Project Invictus enhancements begin rolling out on Silver Muse August 19, where an upgraded champagne & caviar offering is to be initiated.

Thereafter, the same and other enhancements are due to be implemented fleetwide, impacting a variety of onboard features and strengthening line’s reputation for luxurious embellishments.

The scheduled renovation of Silver Whisper in December will be much more comprehensive than anticipated and will include partial refit of all passenger cabins. Silver Wind will also enter into dry dock in the end of 2018. Both ships will join the plan for fleetwide ‘Musification’ that will take inspiration from the design of flagship Silver Muse.

The plan is to be completed shortly after the enhanced dry dock of Silver Shadow.
