Carnival Cruise Line signed a preferred supplier agreement with the Western Association of Travel Agents (WESTA) consortium.

The new partnership becomes effective January 1, 2019, and offers focused program with company's business development managers engaging with association's members to define shared marketing plans and strategies, and initiate Carnival product and brand training.

Carnival Cruise Line joins the Carnival Corporation-owned sister brands Princess Cruises and Holland America Line among WESTA’s preferred suppliers.

The agreement is the latest move of the cruise company to expand its presence on the US West Coast.

Earlier in 2018, Carnival unveiled reimagined terminal facility at Long Beach CA, and announced that its 3rd Vista-class ship, Carnival Panorama, would be the first new ship of the line introduced on the West Coast in decades.

Carnival is also expanding shoreside facilities at Ensenada to enhance Pacific Coast destination offerings.
