Holland America introduced its unique Club Orange program which provides exclusive amenities to passengers looking to elevate cruise experience. From priority services and dedicated concierge hotline to a private dining venue, Club Orange allows vacationers to opt in to extra privileges available to a limited number of travelers on each journey.
Club Orange is due to be included for passengers in Neptune and Pinnacle Suite categories. The program will be available for a small number of non-suite staterooms onboard each sailing. Club Orange is slated to launch on ms Koningsdam and ms Nieuw Statendam in December, with a rollout to the rest of the fleet next year.
The Club Orange name pays homage to HAL's rich Dutch heritage. The cruise company was established in the Netherlands over 145 years ago and it is the color of Dutch Royal Family, that hails from the House of Orange.
The Culinary Arts Center dining venue aboard ms Koningsdam and ms Nieuw Statendam is being transformed into exclusive Club Orange restaurant which will be open daily for breakfast and dinner. The new complimentary venue will serve the menu featured in the Pinnacle Grill (breakfast) and Dining Room (dinner) and include additional daily dishes that will be exclusive to Club Orange.
When in 2019 Club Orange is introduced on the other ships of the fleet, a dedicated Dining Room's section will be set-aside for exclusive use of Club Orange guests. Reservations in the private new dining venue are welcome.
Amenities that come with the exclusive program include priority check-in, disembarkation, tender service and alternative restaurant reservations made onboard. Club Orange guests have a dedicated line at Guest Services and EXC Tours shore excursion desk, along with a dedicated concierge hotline onboard for general questions, support, dining reservations and shore excursion assistance.
Additional benefits include enhanced in-stateroom a la carte breakfast dining menu featuring complimentary premium selections like smoked salmon Benedict or steak and eggs, welcome glass of sparkling wine on embarkation day, an exclusive Club Orange tote bag, premium bathrobe for use in stateroom (available for monogramming and purchase).
The price of Club Orange is US$50 per person per day. The first and second passenger in the same stateroom are both required to buy the program. Club Orange is included for 3rd and 4th guests in the same stateroom. It must be purchased before cruise departure and is not available to buy onboard.
