VIDEO: Ferry Crashes into Dock in San Francisco

A Golden Gate Transit ferry crashed into the dock at San Francisco Ferry Building Friday afternoon, November 23, damaging both the ship and the concrete dock.

Following the crash, the captain and crew have been interviewed and drug tested.

Initially, the Ferry hit the ramp on the far dock, then bounced into the corner by gate "B" and damaged the bow. The ship hit hard enough to damage the concrete dock and railing.

There were 53 people onboard the ferry, MS San Francisco, which was sailing into port from Larkspur.

According to officials, no one was seriously hurt, but 2 people suffered minor injuries.

An investigation is ongoing into what caused the accident.
