Norwegian Cruise Line celebrated the return of its refurbished ship Norwegian Dawn to New York after nearly a decade. The vessel will sail from NYC to the Bahamas, Florida, Canada and New England beginning on Saturday, May 11.
First christened in NYC in 2002, the brand’s 4th ship Norwegian Dawn returns to her homeport for the first time since 2010. In 2016, the ship underwent an extensive refurbishment as part of The Norwegian Edge program to elevate the standard of excellence across the whole fleet. Dawn now boasts new bars and restaurants, including Sugarcane Mojito Bar, Los Lobos Cantina, and The Cellars: A Michael Mondavi Family Wine Bar. The Norwegian ship also features updated decor and design in all staterooms and public spaces including a complete makeover of the largest NCL suites, the signature Garden Villas.
