Liner's maiden call was celebrated on Tuesday, May 21, via an exchange of plaques between Capt Charles Teige, Singapore Tourism Board chairman Chaly Mah and Lionel Wong, Sats-Creuers Cruise Services chief executive.

Royal Caribbean announced a new 7-month homeporting season in Singapore for its Quantum of the Seas, due to popular demand.

Between October 2020-April 2021, a total of 40 cruises will be offered, making the deployment the longest by a Quantum-class liner in South-east Asia.

This is expected to add around 180,000 passengers to the cruise scene of Singapore.
