Carnival Cruise Line announced that the latest function added to its popular Hub App is the ability to, when ordering a pizza, benefit from a drink added. Passengers can order:
- Bottled water
- Sodas (Coke, Diet Coke, Coke Zero, Diet Sprite)
- Domestic and imported beers (Blue Moon, Peroni, Miller Lite).
Back when Carnival announced its Pizza Anywhere feature for the first time, they indicated they were working toward adding more items in general, as well as drinks in particular.
Currently, when ordering a pizza on a number of ships, guests can do that. So far, the option to order a drink is offered on Carnival Conquest, Carnival Glory, Carnival Liberty, and Carnival Sensation. The next to be added are Carnival Elation and Carnival Victory in June, with the rest in the fleet due to be added as the year goes on. Any drink ordered is charged to passengers' accounts separately and is not covered by any drink packages.
Carnival introduced the "pizza delivery" room service option on Carnival Horizon in June 2018. Since then it has been expanded to most Carnival liners. The service allows travellers to order a pizza anywhere on the cruise ship for a US$5 fee delivery. Passengers have the option of leaving additional gratuities after the order is delivered.
