Norwegian Cruise Line announced an exclusive partnership with LDV Hospitality to bring the acclaimed Scarpetta concept to NCL Norwegian Encore with Onda by Scarpetta, thus reaffirming the commitment of the company to providing elevated dining experiences across its fleet.
The name Scarpetta is derived from an Italian expression, ‘fare la Scarpetta,’ meaning to savour a meal to the last bite.
Onda (“wave” in Italian) is due to adopt the same ethos and bring the elegance of its Scarpetta sister to the sea. The menu showcases the rich flavours the modern Italian restaurant is popular for, including a selection of seafood and signature dishes like Yellowtail Crudo, Branzino, pasta made in-house daily like Scarpetta’s well known Spaghetti Tomato and Basil, and the best desserts of the region, providing passengers with a true ‘la dolce vita,’ or ‘the good life,’ experience.
The new venue will feature a stylish atmosphere, contemporary design and expansive views that are available from within the restaurant as well as while dining on The Waterfront.
