Fincantieri floated Princess Cruises’ new ship Enchanted Princess out of the building dock at the yard in Monfalcone, Italy.

Fincantieri's long-term employee Marinella Cossu served as godmother during the official float-out ceremony, watching alongside the cruise line's director of newbuild services Firouz Mal and Roberto Olivari, Monfalcone shipyard director, as the 145,000 GT vessel touched water for the very first time.

Enchanted Princess is due to remain at the shipyard for interior outfitting. The ship will then undergo sea trials ahead of the delivery, scheduled for 2020.

Once afloat, Enchanted Princess will join sisterships Majestic Princess, Royal Princess, Regal Princess, and the upcoming Sky Princess (debuting in October 2019) in the Royal Class. All cruise liners were built at the yard in Monfalcone.
