Genting Dream Responds to a Sinking Boat in Distress

The liner Genting Dream responded to a distress call from a sinking boat and conducted a rescue operation off the coast of Port Tanjung Pelepas (Malaysia's Johor State).

The incident occurred in the early morning on Friday, November 1, 2019. The ship changed its course and after arriving at the scene launched a lifeboat that rescued all the 3 men from the boat.

The survivors were medically assisted on the cruise liner and later transferred to a Malaysian Coastguard vessel.
