A wealth of popular stars will be attending the naming ceremony of AIDAmira in Palma de Mallorca on November 30. Model and TV host Franziska Kuppe will serve as the formal godmother of the 14th member of AIDA Cruises fleet.
Thrilling entertainment is to be provided by the famous German singer, Johannes Oerding, a fixture in the German music landscape. All of his 5 albums have gone gold or platinum, while his concerts are taking place at ever-bigger venues. From March next year, the multi-award-winning singer-songwriter is going on a major tour. Before he once again packs the stadiums in 27 cities on the Germany tour, guests will have the chance to see him live on AIDAmira.
The official naming will take place in the setting of a charity event, proceeds from which go to AIDA Cruise & Help. Since 2018 the cruise company has been helping to raise funds under the charitable umbrella as a partner of Reiner Meutsch FLY & HELP Foundation for the building of schools in developing and emerging countries. The charity event will be moderated by the popular TV host Mary Amiri, welcoming guests like FLY & HELP founder, Reiner Meutsch.
During the premiere season, AIDAmira is setting a course for Southern Africa's wonders, with 14-day sailings beginning and ending in Cape Town. From May through September 2020, AIDAmira is scheduled to depart from Corfu on new Eastern Mediterranean routes.
