A male passenger died on a Carnival cruise liner after falling 4 decks (from Deck 9 to Deck 5). The accident happened when Carnival Horizon was returning to PortMiami Friday night, November 15. The victim's identity has not been announced yet.
According to reports, the crew tried to arrange a trauma helicopter to airlift the passenger but he died before the arrangements were available. Carnival Cruise Line said it is working with the victim’s family and cooperating with the investigation by Miami police. The Horizon ship returned to PortMiami following 7-day cruise to Jamaica, Mexico and Grand Cayman.
