Carnival Fantasy ship was delayed Friday morning, January 3, from departing homeport Mobile Alabama due to adverse weather conditions. Carnival Cruise Line cited fog as the preliminary factor, risking ship's safety.
As a result, the voyage must be shortened. To all bookings will be offered compensation and the option to either take a 3-day shortened trip (with 50% refund and 50% OBC-credit to a future voyage) or cancel with a full refund.
Carnival Fantasy was then scheduled to depart at 11 am to Mexico. The ship is on a 4-day, round-trip Western Caribbean voyage from Mobile, Alabama with a port call in Cozumel on January 4.
