Royal Caribbean's Jewel of the Seas and NCL-Norwegian Cruise Line's Norwegian Epic plan to carry out technical calls at Gibraltar on Monday, August 10, 2020, at around 08:00 hrs.
In line with the decision of Gibraltar's government to suspend cruise ship calls during the ongoing pandemic, it has to be pointed out that is not a cruise call, the ships do not have any passengers on board, and will be berthing exclusively to undertake operations.
No crew will be allowed to disembark from the liners, and no attendance onboard the vessels from shore-based staff will be permitted during the short stay in Gibraltar.
