Scenic Cruises' Scenic Eclipse ship celebrates first anniversary

The premium cruise company Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours celebrated 1 year since its superyacht Scenic Eclipse embarked on its maiden voyage and "raised the standard of luxury expedition cruising."

Named in NYC New York by Godmother Dame Helen Mirren in September 2019, the Scenic ship Eclipse boasts with the ultimate in sustainability and safety. Scenic Eclipse has been honored with a number of awards since its launch. Passengers, who had the chance to explore the world aboard the vessel, can now look forward to better opportunities with the boat's second season.

In 2019, (8 months due to the global pandemic) the 228-passenger yacht Scenic Eclipse has introduced its guests to 20+ countries across 4 continents and 3 oceans. Travelers have enjoyed 290+ helicopter flights, experienced 200+ dives in Eclipse’s onboard submarine, Scenic Neptune, and participated in 500+ Discovery explorations including Zodiac trips and kayaking around the icebergs of Antarctica. 270+ passengers took the polar plunge, diving into the waters of the Arctic and Antarctica to earn polar badges.

To celebrate the successful first year, Scenic Canada is offering vacationers free business or premium airfare on select Scenic Eclipse 2021 cruises in Alaska, North-Central-South America; 2 for 1 economy air on the Mediterranean, Arctic and Norwegian Fjords itineraries; free and reduced (CAD$1995 per person) business air on select 2020-2021 Antarctica Sailings; and CAD$500 per person air credit on Northern Europe sailings.
