The German brand of Costa Group, AIDA Cruises, restarts from Italy for the resumption of its sailings.

The AIDAblu ship is scheduled to depart on Saturday, October 17, from Civitavecchia-Rome Italy for her first voyage after the pause for the COVID emergency, with a 7-day itinerary visiting exclusively Italian ports, such as Naples, Catania Sicily, La Spezia, Palermo Sicily, and with an overnight in Rome.

After the first cruise begins on October 17, voyages will be offered weekly through November 28, 2020.

AIDAblu is the 4th ship of Costa Group to resume sailings, after the 3 ships of Costa Cruises - Costa Diadema, Costa Deliziosa, and Costa Smeralda – which restarted in September-October. Costa Smeralda was also in the port of Civitavecchia on Friday, October 16, together with AIDAblu, as part of her first trip, which departed on October 10 from Savona with visits only to Italian ports.
