CCL-Carnival Cruise Line maintains travel advisor commission rates

   January 28, 2021 ,   Cruise Industry

In appreciation of the loyalty and commitment of travel agents, CCL-Carnival Cruise Line announced it is honoring the commission tier each account earned in 2019 through 2022.

This way, CCL is ensuring travel agencies will continue to earn commissions at their current rates for the next two years without percentage changing.

Adolfo Perez (CCL’s Senior VP of Global Trade Sales and Marketing) said they truly appreciated the continued partnership and loyalty of their valued travel partners.

“By maintaining our current commission tiers, we’re recognizing the important role that travel advisors play in the vacation-selling process while providing peace of mind knowing their efforts through 2022 will be compensated at the rate they have worked so hard to earn.”

CCL had previously announced commission tiers would be maintained through 2021, so the announcement extends the protection for an additional year.

The announcement is part of the company’s Onboard with You pledge including tools that support travel partners as a key factor in Carnival’s plan of a gradual, phased-in return to operation.
