A male crew committed suicide on CCL-Carnival Cruise Line's ship Mardi Gras.
The young man from Brazil lost his life Tuesday morning, July 27. Hours before the crew's death he was with friends onboard the ship.
A mental health professional has been sent to Mardi Gras to talk with the crew and provide support after the accident.
Carnival Madi Gras, the newest and most innovative vessel of Carnival, is scheduled to set sail from Port Canaveral (Orlando) Florida with her first passengers on Saturday, July 31.
