The RCG/Royal Caribbean Group-owned premium travel brand Celebrity Cruises launched a multi-million global advertising campaign enticing cruisers to "reconnect with the people and the world" around them.
With the “Journey Safe, Journey Wonderfull” tagline, the campaign taps into the wonders of experiencing the world from the perspective of a Celebrity Cruises ship. The campaign blends new experiences with places and people, doubling down on the message of inclusivity.
The campaign’s TV spot opens with the question, “How many precious moments have we missed?”, prior to taking the viewer on a trip filled with experiences one might not associate with a voyage.
Set to a remix of Louis Armstrong’s ballad, “What a Wonderful World,” the spot entices at every moment to return to the fullness of life.
Celebrity paused operations in March 2020 as the COVID crisis took hold. After ~16 months, it became the first cruise ship operator to sail with guests from North America, and then, the first to sail from a port in the USA when Celebrity Edge left Port Everglades Florida on June 26, 2021, for a 7-night Caribbean roundtrip.
The brand requires all crew members and eligible passengers to be fully vaccinated in order to board.
