Viking OCEAN's newest cruise ship Viking Saturn joins the fleet in 2023-Q1

Viking Cruises announced that its newest ship - Viking Saturn, is set to join the fleet in early 2023.

The 930-passenger sistership will spend her maiden season sailing 3 new itineraries in Scandinavian and Nordic countries, including a couple of 15-day journeys, Iconic Iceland, Greenland & Canada and Iceland & Norway’s Arctic Explorer, as well as the 29-day Greenland, Iceland, Norway & Beyond voyage.

In addition to the 3 new itineraries, Viking also announced today that the company would bring back the popular 8-day Iceland’s Natural Beauty itinerary beginning in August 2023.

New and returning 2023 Nordic Itineraries include:

  • 15-day Iconic Iceland, Greenland & Canada (new) from New York City to Reykjavik (North Atlantic crossing).
  • 15-day Iceland & Norway’s Arctic Explorer (new) from Bergen to Honningvag’s remote Nordkapp/North Cape and Longyearbyen/Spitsbergen Island).
  • 29-day Greenland, Iceland, Norway & Beyond (new) from Bergen to NYC (Transatlantic crossing).
  • 8-day Iceland’s Natural Beauty roundtrip from Reykjavik.
