Scenic Eclipse recently departed the Red Sea and is making her way to Antarctica (now positioned at Santa Cruz de Tenerife) in preparation for her highly anticipated return to the Antarctic peninsula in January 2022.

Following a nearly 2-year hiatus, this marks a major milestone for the luxury all-inclusive operator as Scenic Eclipse is expected to resume the first of her scheduled sailing program since the beginning of the COVID crisis and will be among the world's first ships to return to Antarctica.

The Scenic Cruises' ship will operate 6 scheduled voyages in the region, commencing on January 8, 2022, as part of her 2021-2022 season. Vacationers will visit Antarctica & South Georgia prior to venturing back across the Atlantic, cruising from Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) to Lisbon (Portugal), to start the first-ever Mediterranean season of Scenic Eclipse.

In celebration of the return to the Antarctic, Scenic has brought forward the unveiling of its 2023-2024 program onboard its 6-star Discovery Yacht, Scenic Eclipse.

Prices start from GBP 9,650 pp for the 16-day Antarctica in Depth itinerary departing on February 15 or 26, 2022.

Passengers joining Scenic Eclipse for her recommencement season will be the first to experience a new underwater experience. The Discovery Yacht is expected to become the first to operate a submarine in South Georgia Island waters.
