Greenwich Island (Antarctica) is located between Robert Island and Livingston Island (South Shetland Islands). The island has length of 24 km (15 ml), average width 5 km (3 ml) and total area approx 143 km2 (55 ml2).
On the island's northeast coast is located the Arturo Prat base (Chile), while on its north coast is the Pedro Vicente Maldonado base (Ecuador).
