Arvia cabins and suites

PO Arvia cruise ship cabins are available in four main types—Suites, Balcony, Oceanview (Sea View/Outside), and Interior—plus a fifth category for Single cabins. These are divided into 12 categories and 32 grades. The ship has a total of 2,610 passenger staterooms and a maximum capacity of 6,264 guests (5,204 lower berths).

Accommodations include 121 Suites, 1,496 Balcony cabins, 174 Oceanview cabins, and 819 Interior cabins. P&O Arvia also features 32 studio cabins (for solo travelers) and 55 wheelchair-accessible cabins for passengers with disabilities. Most cabins range in size from 135 to 170 ft² (13–16 m²).

Except for the Suites, all balconies are relatively small—measuring just 20 ft² (2 m²). Balcony cabins located in the forward section may be overlooked by the Navigation Bridge (Wheelhouse).

The ship has eight self-service launderettes (laundry rooms for passengers) located midship on decks 4, 5, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, and 15.

Two-Room Sky Suites are located at both the aft and forward ends of the ship, designed to resemble boutique hotel rooms. These consist of interconnecting rooms with doors that can be fully opened to create an expanded lounge area. Furnishings are modern and comfortable, including a sofa, ottoman chairs, lounge chairs, soft accessories like cushions and premium twill throws, and LED lighting with both ceiling and wall-mounted lamps. These suites (categories B4, B5, B6) offer spacious bathrooms featuring double-sink vanities, black marble countertops, white marble walls and floors, and whirlpool bathtubs. All Suites include separate bedroom and lounge areas, dedicated dressing areas, large step-out balconies, and exclusive amenities such as a personal butler, in-cabin dining, and priority services.

The Conservatory Mini-Suite is a new cabin concept that includes a conservatory-style room situated between the main cabin and the balcony. This room is furnished with an L-shaped sofa, creating a unique lounge area. Sliding glass doors allow the room to be enclosed for privacy—ideal for small gatherings or conversations—while bi-fold glass doors open it up to the step-out balcony, offering a shaded indoor-outdoor relaxation space.

Balcony staterooms fall into three primary categories—Deluxe, Standard, and Smaller—plus Single Balcony cabins. Many include interconnecting doors, making them suitable for families and groups. These cabins also support outdoor dining via the ship’s Room Service menu.

For larger families and groups, some balcony cabins come with built-in bunks (fold-out or pull-down beds). On decks 10, 11, 12, 14, and 15, forward-facing balcony cabins offer larger, steel-fronted verandas overlooking the bow. Due to their prime location and enhanced balcony size, these staterooms (categories EE–Deluxe, GE–Standard) are considered premium options. Single Balcony cabins (category QZ) are located aft on decks 9, 11, and 14. These are smaller double cabins but can be booked without paying a single supplement.

P&O UK's Arvia offers interior staterooms on all cabin decks. Single Inside cabins (category SZ) are standard-sized double cabins available to solo travelers without requiring a single supplement.

All staterooms feature Queen-size beds (convertible to two twin beds), bedside cabinets, wall-mounted reading lamps, a seating area with a sofabed or two-seater couch and a modern dining/coffee table, a mirrored vanity table/writing desk with chair, a mirrored wardrobe (with sliding doors, hangers, drawers, and an electronic safe), a direct-dial phone, and a smart HDTV (with infotainment system, internet, on-demand movies, Room Service ordering, and reservation features). Decorative, round-shaped mirrors are also included. Each stateroom has an en suite bathroom with a toilet, single-sink vanity, and shower.

Pull-down bunk beds are accessed via a ladder. Cabin balconies are furnished with two deck chairs and a small table. All standard bathrooms feature a shower and toilet. Two-Room Suites (categories B4, B5, B6) include bathtubs and also provide bathrobes and slippers for added comfort.
