Emerald Liberte cabins and suites

Follows review of Emerald Liberte cabins regarding amenities, furniture, and complimentary services:

• All Emerald Liberte cabins feature queen-size beds or convertible twin beds (except Single cabins, which have a single bed sized 79 x 63 inches / 200 x 160 cm), bedside tables, mirrored panels by the bed, and a private en-suite bathroom (WC, small sink, shower cubicle, mirrored cupboards, mirror above the basin, clothesline, and luxury bath products including shampoo, liquid soap, conditioner, and body lotion). Additional amenities include a walk-in closet (large wardrobe with hangers), personal safe, direct-dial phone, flat HDTV (satellite reception with news and movie channels, infotainment system, movies on demand, “View From the Bridge” / real-time webcam views), mini-bar (fully stocked with beer, wine, soft drinks, and snacks / all at an extra charge, except in Owner’s Suites), individual climate control, 220V power outlets (European sockets in both cabin and bathroom, plus one Australian socket / US passengers should bring adapters), umbrella, shoe cleaner, and two sets of earplugs.
• All Suite cabins are fitted with floor-to-ceiling sliding windows. Despite being called “Balcony Suites,” these are actually single-room cabins with an “indoor veranda” (instead of the French Balcony found on other ships). The floor-to-ceiling windows can drop halfway at the touch of a button. An additional inner insect screen is fitted behind the main curtain.
• Owner’s Suites offer a separate bedroom and lounge/living area with sofa, plus a bathroom with double sinks. These suites also have a furnished sit-out balcony with two padded wooden chairs and a small round table. Extra perks include a complimentary mini-bar (restocked daily), Nespresso coffee machine, iPad, in-room dining (continental breakfast, pre-dinner canapés, and after-dinner sweets), and complimentary laundry (4 items per day).
• Grand Suites feature additional amenities such as a Nespresso coffee machine, en-suite dining (continental breakfast, canapés, sweets), and complimentary laundry (2 items per day).
• All Standard staterooms have large fixed Picture Windows.
• Shipboard laundry service is available at an extra cost, with items collected directly from the stateroom by housekeeping staff.
• Cabin access is provided by magnetic chip instead of key cards. Chips are attached to lanyards.
• A daily program with scheduled activities is placed in cabins each evening. The Emerald Liberte cruise director also gives a nightly port talk, providing an overview of the next day’s ports of call and shore excursion options.
• Complimentary Wi-Fi internet is available throughout the ship.
