Silver Dawn cabins and suites

MS Silver Dawn cabins are larger than the luxury cruising industry's standard. Traditionally for Silversea, Dawn is an all-suite ship, with all passenger accommodations located in the forward half. All public rooms are located between midship and the stern. The ship offers a total of 7 cabin categories.

All Silver Dawn suites feature private balconies. There are 4 handicap (wheelchair-accessible) cabins for disabled passengers (#407, 409, 417, 931), all located on the starboard side and near the ship's forward elevators. A total of 32 Veranda Suites are available as connecting cabins. These can be combined and booked as double (2-bedroom) suites when paired with adjacent higher-category suites.

Each Silver Dawn suite features the following amenities: a large living area (chairs, coffee table, sofa, writing desk), walk-in closet (wardrobe with ample drawers and shelves), vanity area (mirrored table and small stool), marble bathroom (bathtub, separate shower, vanity sink/WC area, plush robes and slippers by Etro, towels, luxury bath products—choice of European premium brands, Bvlgari by default), bedroom (queen bed convertible to twins, luxury mattresses, Pratesi bedding sets, pillow menu, duvets), leather headboard, bedside tables with lamps, hairdryer, smart UHDTVs (satellite reception, interactive infotainment system, Internet access, movies-on-demand, ship information channel, live camera views), media center (high-quality sound system and interactive media library), iPod docking station, radio/alarm clock, wall-mounted chargers for mobile devices, mini-bar (cocktail cabinet), fully stocked refrigerator (wine, beer, and soft beverages), safe, direct-dial phone, magnifying mirror, binoculars, umbrella, stationery, aromatherapy cabin scents by Laura Tonatto, complimentary 24-hour room service (via butler service), and 110/220 V power outlets.

Most cabins (excluding Vista and Panorama Suites) feature floor-to-ceiling sliding doors leading to a large private balcony (finished with premium teak and furnished with luxury patio furniture).

All cabins except Veranda Suites are available in two configurations—1-bedroom and 2-bedroom (double) suites when combined with an adjacent Veranda Suite. These accommodations feature two bathrooms (with a full-size whirlpool bathtub in the main suite), a powder room, a convertible sofa bed (for a third guest in the sitting area), two verandas (one for the second bedroom), and a separate dining area (table and chairs). Bonus amenities and perks include a daily newspaper, two hours of in-suite phone usage (worldwide calls), complimentary laundry service (including dry-cleaning and pressing), en-suite dining with afternoon canapés, an Illy coffee maker, additional TVs, exclusive dining at the Officer's Table, and one complimentary dinner for two at the Le Champagne restaurant.

• Each of the Silver Suites has 2 HDTVs (55 inches / 140 cm in the main suite) plus 2 HDTVs (42 inches / 107 cm) in the second bedroom.
• Each of the Royal Suites has 2 HDTVs (55 inches / 140 cm and 42 inches / 107 cm) in the main suite, plus 2 HDTVs (42 inches / 107 cm) in the second bedroom. The second bedroom has its own balcony and sitting area.
• Each of the Grand Suites (on Decks 8 and 9) has 2 HDTVs (55 inches / 140 cm and 42 inches / 107 cm) in the main suite, plus 2 HDTVs (42 inches / 107 cm) in the second bedroom. The second bedroom also has its own balcony and sitting area.
• Each of the Owner's Suites (on Deck 9) has a second bathroom (with shower), 2 HDTVs (55 inches / 140 cm and 42 inches / 107 cm) in the main suite, plus 2 HDTVs (42 inches / 107 cm) in the second bedroom. The second bedroom also includes a sitting area and a large picture window.

The room service menu includes the same items offered in the main dining room. Room service (course-by-course in-suite dining) is available during the main restaurant's operating hours via the complimentary butler service. During the day, guests can also order fast-food items such as burgers, salads, and appetizers.

Personal butler service includes dinner reservations, in-suite dining arrangements, refrigerator restocking, laundry, shoeshine service, and packing/unpacking assistance.

Smoking is not permitted in cabins or on balconies.

Silversea fares include complimentary Wi-Fi (shipwide, in all suites and public areas). Each passenger is allowed at least 1 hour of free Wi-Fi Internet access per day. Wi-Fi is free and unlimited for guests staying in GS-Grand, RS-Royal, OS-Owner's, and SS-Silver suite categories. This amenity upgrade is available on all Silver Dawn itineraries, including on themed cruises.
