Deck layouts, review of facilities, activities, amenities
Silver Cloud deck plan review at CruiseMapper provides newest cruise deck plans (2026-2027-2028 valid floor layouts of the vessel) extracted from the officially issued by Silversea Expeditions (Silversea Cruises) deckplan pdf (printable version).
Each of the Silver Cloud cruise ship deck plans are conveniently combined with a legend (showing cabin codes) and detailed review of all the deck's venues and passenger-accessible indoor and outdoor areas. A separate link provides an extensive information on Silver Cloud staterooms (cabins and suites), including photos, cabin plans and amenities by room type and category.
MS Silver Cloud (1994-built, last refurbished in 2017) is the first and oldest vessel in the Silversea fleet, followed by sistership Silver Wind. Silver Cloud and Silver Wind are also the fleet's smallest ships (capacity 300 passengers). Like her Silversea Expeditions fleetmates, Silver Cloud is an ultra-luxury vessel operated with all-inclusive fares and offers some of the highest-quality amenities and services at sea.
Silver Cloud's deck plan shows a total of 151 staterooms (all suites) for 302 passengers (maximum capacity 362), served by 197 crew and staff. The ship has 9 decks (7 passenger-accessible, 4 with cabins), 4 restaurants, 5 lounges and bars, 1 swimming pool, 2 outdoor Jacuzzis (whirlpool hot tubs), and 4 elevators. One passenger-use laundromat (with butler- and self-service laundry facilities) is located on Deck 4. Detergent is provided.
The Silver Cloud offers some of the world's best luxury cruise deals in the premium market segment. Silversea's all-inclusive concept means that all onboard beverages are complimentary (including wines, premium spirits, champagne, and the in-suite minibar and refrigerator), and all gratuities are included.
When booking your Silver Cloud cruise, it is recommended to make reservations for the specialty restaurants you wish to visit. These include Le Champagne (French cuisine, 20 seats) and La Terrazza (Italian cuisine, 70 seats).
Silver Cloud deck plan changes – 2017 refurbishment review
After the ship's drydock refurbishment in August–September 2017, Silver Cloud was transferred to the Silversea Expeditions fleet.
- As a luxury expedition vessel, Silver Cloud's passenger capacity was reduced to 260 guests. When operating on Arctic and Antarctic itineraries, the maximum capacity is limited to 200 passengers.
- The vessel's hull was strengthened with ice-class capabilities for operations in polar waters.
- The ship carries a fleet of 18 Zodiacs (inflatable expedition boats) used for close-to-shore exploration. The expedition team operates with a ratio of one team member per 12 passengers.
- Note: CruiseMapper's deck plans of Silver Cloud reflect the updated "expedition ship" layout and the new cabin categories.
