  • The ship's Aquavit Terrace is connected to and served by the Observation Lounge. The Terrace is a bow location outdoor seating lounge and casual dining venue with panoramic scenery views. This venue serves Breakfast, (light) Cafe Lunch and Dinner.
  • Viking Lounge & Bar (observation lounge with dance floor and own bar). Has floor-ceiling glass doors, self-service coffee makers (24-hour, bean-ground coffee, latte, macchiato, cappuccino). Entertainment options here are live grand piano performances by a resident pianist and cocktail hour (nightly), live band music and dancing (on themed nights), cooking classes and demonstrations, watching movies (on a big Plasma screen). Depending on the visited Douro River port cities and towns along the Viking Hemming itinerary, this lounge features land tours-, culture- and history related lectures and multimedia presentations (including on Ibearian history, flamenco, fado, wine-making, etc). Special activities here are the tastings (local delicacies, Portuguese wines, cheeses, liqueurs, etc).
