MSC Cruises suspended all calls to Saint Petersburg (Russia) for 2022 due to the recent developments in the region and security concerns.

The 4 ships that were scheduled to call at St. Petersburg port on their summer 2022 cruises (MSC Grandiosa, MSC Poesia, MSC Preziosa, and MSC Virtuosa) will no longer visit the Russian city from late May through October due to the safety of passengers and crew members as a top priority, MSC Cruises announced.

Since the current events commenced, MSC Cruises has been in contact with alternative cruise ports such as Stockholm (Sweden), Helsinki (Finland), or Tallinn (Estonia) in order to confirm the visits for the upcoming sailings. Customers affected by the new regulations or their travel agents will be informed of each individual voyage ASAP.

MSC Cruises said it would update its website in order to reflect the details of the new itineraries in a timely manner. The line will provide maximum clarity for both passengers who have booked and those wishing to reserve a Baltic Sea voyage in the future.
