After being acquired in 2022 by Abercrombie & Kent Travel Group, the former Crystal Cruises company is being relaunched as "Crystal" in 2023.

The brand unveiled a new website on January 31st and will open bookings for the recently released mid-2023 through to 2024 itineraries exclusively for passengers who have made US$500 refundable open deposits on Wednesday, February 1st.

Other past guests can book upcoming voyages aboard the drydock-refurbished ocean ships Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony beginning February 13th while bookings are expected to open to the general public on February 22nd.

Crystal Serenity is scheduled to debut with a 12-day sailing from Marseille (France) to Lisbon (Portugal) on July 31st. Crystal Symphony debuts with a 7-day itinerary from Athens-Piraeus (Greece) to Istanbul (Turkey) departing on September 1st.

Crystal will also sail to destinations throughout Northern Europe, the Mediterranean, Canada and New England, Australia and New Zealand, as well as the Caribbean, the Middle East, Alaska, Asia, and even through the Panama Canal.

Relaunching with the "Exceptional at Sea" tagline, Crystal is currently drydocking both of its vessels, also cutting down their max passenger capacity by ~20%. Suites will receive new carpeting, furniture, drapes, premium cotton Egyptian linens, and Italian marble. The ship's wellness facilities (spa and gym) will be enhanced. Improvements will be made to all public areas and pickleball courts will be added to the sports facilities.
