AmaWaterways has launched its 2025 Brochure, encompassing details of what is anticipated to be a significant year in the company's history. The brochure introduces two cutting-edge vessels, AmaMelodia in Colombia and AmaSintra in Portugal, along with a diverse array of European river cruise experiences.

The brochure is accessible for print orders or digital download via the company's website.

In June 2025, AmaWaterways will inaugurate AmaMelodia, its second ship in Colombia. This vessel will offer travelers the opportunity to explore two captivating 7-night itineraries, Wonders of Colombia and Magic of Colombia, guiding them along the Magdalena River between the cities of Cartagena and Barranquilla.

Similar to the sistership AmaMagdalena (to be launched in November 2024), AmaMelodia will accommodate 64 guests in spacious twin-balcony staterooms, each spanning 235 ft2.

AmaMelodia will feature a refreshing Sun Deck pool, a fitness room, a nail salon, and a new al fresco dining experience, all complemented by the vibrant Colombian-inspired decor, festive ambiance, and warm service that AmaWaterways is renowned for. Notable itinerary highlights include exclusive experiences such as the Carnaval Celebration in Barranquilla, Jazz Street Performances in Mompox, and Cumbia Performances in El Banco. The addition of pre- and post-cruise land packages in Cartagena, Medellin, and Panama City enhances the overall experience of this new river cruise destination.

Additionally, AmaWaterways will introduce AmaSintra, a sistership to AmaDouro, into its European fleet in Portugal in 2025. AmaSintra will embark on two 7-night itineraries along the picturesque Douro River: the Enticing Douro, which follows a roundtrip route to Porto, and the Flavors of Portugal & Spain, which sails from Porto to Vega de Terron/Salamanca, with a reverse itinerary option. Onboard AmaSintra, passengers can savor renowned wines in the sun-kissed vineyards of Port Country, relish the unique flavors of Portuguese and Spanish cuisine, and immerse themselves in the vibrant cultures of charming villages and historic cities along the journey.

Returning guests will appreciate the new Imperial Danube 7-night itinerary, beginning and concluding in Budapest. In addition to having more time to explore the nightlife of captivating Budapest and romantic Vienna, guests can savor scenic daytime cruising through the Danube Bend and Wachau Valley, and partake in bike rides, regional wine tastings, and visits to historic abbeys.

To meet the growing demand for more extensive travel experiences, AmaWaterways is reintroducing the popular Magnificent Europe 14-night itinerary. This enriching journey between Amsterdam and Budapest retraces the path of emperors and royalty while traversing the Continental Divide across the Danube, Main, and Rhine rivers.
