On December 12, Port Everglades/Fort Lauderdale FL welcomed the ultra-luxury travel brand Azamara and the debut of its ship Azamara Onward at her new winter homeport in South Florida.
The traditional dockside ceremony, complete with a plaque and key exchange, marked the official welcome to the cruise line.
As a gateway to the world, the Greater Fort Lauderdale seaport seamlessly aligns with Azamara's global destinations. Azamara Onward's current season at the port includes captivating journeys: a 10-night, 12-night, and 14-night exploration of the Eastern Caribbean, along with a 13-night Central America Tapestry Voyage. Notably, this marks the beginning of the 155-night Around the World Voyage departing on January 5, 2024.
Designed like its counterparts, Azamara Onward accommodates up to 700 guests, promising a luxurious experience as she navigates oceans, waterways, and docks at intimate locations. Beyond the ease of sailing, Azamara guests at Port Everglades will discover a locale conveniently close to golden beaches, diverse restaurants, hotels, and attractions catering to various interests and budgets.
