Uniworld Boutique River Cruises has revealed plans for the introduction of a new riverboat - the SS Emilie (SS=Super Ship), scheduled to debut in Europe in 2026.

The vessel, designed as a homage to the acclaimed Austrian artist Gustav Klimt (1862-1918), will be named after his life partner and muse, Emilie Floge (1874-1952).

Ellen Bettridge (Uniworld's President and CEO) expressed excitement about the addition of the SS Emilie to the fleet, especially as it coincides with Uniworld's 50th anniversary. She emphasized Uniworld's commitment to excellence and providing guests with the best and most luxurious river cruise experience.

SS Emilie joins the newbuild fleetmates (Super Ships) SS Victoria (debuting on the Rhine and Moselle in 2024) and SS Elisabeth (debuting on the Rhine in 2025).

Uniworld has expanded its fleet significantly since 2020, with the addition of 5 other Super Ships - Mekong Jewel, Aria Amazon, SS Sao Gabriel (Douro cruiser), SS La Venezia and SS Sphinx (Nile cruiser).

Each of these premium boats offers a 5-star boutique hotel experience tailored to reflect the destinations they visit. These ships are known for their impeccable service, farm-to-table cuisine, and curated excursions, providing guests with a luxurious and all-inclusive river cruising experience unlike any other.
