The Carnival Corporation-owned German shipping company AIDA Cruises has released its summer 2027 schedule, comprising more than 470 voyages with departures between March and October.

The program spans a range of maritime regions, offering itineraries from 3 to 14 days, and includes new destinations as well as returning highlights across Northern Europe, the Baltic Sea, the Mediterranean, and globally.

Among the northern routes, voyages aboard AIDAprima and AIDAnova will call at notable Norwegian fjords, including Geirangerfjord and Nærøyfjord—both UNESCO World Heritage Sites. These itineraries also reach destinations within the Arctic Circle, and include ports in England, Scotland, Ireland, Lofoten, the North Cape, and Greenland. The inclusion of Iceland, whose landscapes such as Thingvellir National Park, served as filming locations for prominent productions like "Game of Thrones," adds further geographical and visual diversity.

Baltic Sea voyages are also prominent in the 2027 offering. From ports like Warnemünde, ships such as AIDAmar will call at Stockholm, Kemi, and Oulu, as well as cities including Riga, Klaipėda, Gdańsk, and Karlskrona. The program also includes maiden calls to Lysekil and Ystad, two Swedish coastal towns of literary and cinematic significance. AIDAbella and AIDAdiva are scheduled to service these northern and Baltic routes.

In the western Mediterranean, cruises will follow itineraries reflecting the region’s filmic heritage, visiting iconic sites such as Rome, Florence, Sicily, Corsica, and Barcelona. AIDAcosma will operate the "Mediterranean Treasures" route over 7 days, while AIDAstella will offer longer 10- and 11-day sailings. Of particular note is the solar eclipse on August 2, 2027, which will be visible from AIDAcosma in Gibraltar and from AIDAstella while at sea—an astronomical event integrated into the cruise calendar.

The eastern Mediterranean will once again feature prominently, with sailings visiting Istanbul, Corfu, and ports in Greece and Turkey. These routes incorporate locations familiar from cinematic franchises such as James Bond, with Istanbul, Crete, and Corfu having served as backdrops in several films. AIDAblu and AIDAstella will operate voyages in the region, with 7- and 14-day options departing from Corfu.

A broader offering also includes the "Globetrotter" voyage on AIDAstella, scheduled between March and June. This sailing includes extended itineraries to destinations such as Tokyo during cherry blossom season, Port Louis in Mauritius, and Port Elizabeth in South Africa, where passengers may visit Addo Elephant National Park.

AIDA Cruises is promoting its early booking incentives under the AIDA PREMIUM fare, with savings of up to EUR 300 per person available for select 2027 departures. Bookings opened to the public on May 22, 2025.
