Princess Cruises will return two of its sister ships—Sapphire Princess joining Diamond Princess—to Singapore for the 2026-2027 Asia season, marking the first dual deployment in this region since 2018-2019.

The two vessels, each accommodating up to 2,670 guests, will together broaden the selection of sailings and provide extended seasonal coverage.

Diamond Princess, built in Japan and tailored for Asian guests, will homeport from November 2026 through March 2027, offering 11 voyages ranging from 10 to 31 nights. Cruises will call at 28 ports across 8 countries, with late-night stays in Ha Long Bay, Hong Kong, Bangkok, and Kyoto, enhancing opportunities for evening exploration.

Joining the deployment, Sapphire Princess will contribute approximately 18 additional voyages, including long-haul options from 10 up to 42 nights. These itineraries will connect Singapore with destinations across Southeast Asia and the Far East—Japan, Malaysia, Vietnam, South Korea—with stops in 37 ports across 10 countries.

Among these sailings is a 33-night repositioning voyage that departs from Los Angeles USA, calling at Hawaii, Asia, and Yokohama Japan before arriving in Singapore.

Together, the two ships will offer nearly 30 distinct itineraries, combining roundtrip Asia sailings, festive-season voyages—for Christmas, New Year, or Chinese New Year—and extended crossings between Singapore and Japan. Diamond Princess will continue to feature regional touches such as Kai Sushi, Japanese-inspired cocktails, traditional Izumi bath facilities, and cultural entertainment aboard.

This redeployment significantly increases Princess Cruises’ capacity in Asia, enabling year-round service from Singapore, Tokyo, and Yokohama, and reinforcing the cruise line’s role in catering to diverse travel preferences across the Asia-Pacific.
