Paul Gauguin Cruises (aka "PG Cruises", Ponant-owned brand) has unveiled a new “Tempting Tahiti” opportunity, permitting travellers to navigate the charms of French Polynesia with enhanced onboard privileges.
The line, long esteemed for its sailing expertise in this region, proposes a shipboard credit of US$1,000 per stateroom or suite on all departures scheduled in 2026, pending bookings secured by September 26th, 2025. This incentive is intended to enrich the value of the company’s all-inclusive voyages through the Society Islands, Tuamotus, Marquesas, Cook Islands, and the broader South Pacific. Guests may allocate their credit toward excursions ashore, spa indulgences, onboard shopping, or other discretionary pursuits.
The m/s Paul Gauguin, having recently completed a considerable refurbishment, now carries an overwater aesthetic aboard which cultural immersion and elegant repose are equally balanced. The refit introduced a redesigned Le Grill, a pool deck refreshed with shaded cabana spaces, connecting staterooms better suited to multigenerational parties, and a refreshed livery reflecting its parent company, Ponant Explorations Group. Moreover, sustainable enhancements—among them a seawater filtration system—were incorporated, all while retaining the vessel’s intimate atmosphere and environmental ethos.
Afloat in gentle lagoons, the vessel continues to bear what might be called an overwater “bungalow” at sea, from which voyagers may island-hop across resplendent reefs, drift amid lush coral gardens, and find solitude on private strands.
